Current Situation: Following the departure of one of our team members, we are excited to invite an experienced Strategic Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Head of Purchasing, this role is based in the picturesque town of Saint-Louis (68). You will lead a small, dedicated international team of buyers focused on procuring plastic/resin parts.

Reporting to the Senior Head of Purchasing, this role is based in the picturesque town of Saint-Louis (68). You will lead a small, dedicated international team of buyers focused on procuring plastic/resin parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of buyers.
- Develop and implement a Category Purchasing strategy that meets the defined cost, supplier performance, risk management, and sustainability objectives.
- Identify and drive productivity improvement plans and engage in local audits of the France entity.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management: gather and analyze requirements, source and manage the supplier panel, conduct consultations and negotiations, and finalize contracts.
- Collaborate daily with international and cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- This position requires periodic travel.

Who we are looking for:
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- An accomplished executive with training or specialization in Purchasing.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an international group.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Work location: Saint-Louis, Haut-Rhin, Grand Est
