Software Asset Manager (m/f/d)

Develop and implement software license management strategies in collaboration with various departments and stakeholders.
Execution and management of software asset reconciliation and audit activities.
Ensuring license compliance for all software products in the company.
Managing the entire lifecycle of software assets, including request, licensing, deployment and decommissioning.
Creation and maintenance of documentation and instructions for software procurement.
Optimizing software usage and costs through analysis and reporting.

Degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field.
Several years of experience in software asset management.
Good knowledge of the license and contract models of major software manufacturers (e.g. Microsoft).
Certifications such as ITIL or comparable are an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and experience in dealing with large amounts of data.
Communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of managing software licenses and contracts.
Experience with software asset management tools and systems
Ability to analyze and optimize license usage data.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments.
