Diehl Controls is strengthening its commitment to sustainable heating technologies by successfully joining the European Union's Heat Pump Accelerator Platform (HPAP). This EU-wide initiative, launched by the European Commission, brings together leading players in the heat pump industry to accelerate the adoption of this forward-looking technology across Europe.
As a specialist in inverters, HMI solutions, and connectivity components for heat pumps, Diehl Controls brings its extensive expertise to the platform. The company is ideally positioned with its products to make a valuable contribution to achieving the ambitious EU climate goals.
The HPAP, organized by a consortium including the European Heat Pump Association, VITO, and Fraunhofer ISE, aims to achieve several core objectives by 2027. These include promoting collaboration among key stakeholders, identifying priority areas in research and development, and pursuing policies for the accelerated deployment of heat pumps in buildings, industry, and district heating.
Membership in the platform enables Diehl Controls to engage directly with other leading companies, research institutions, and policymakers. This networking will not only foster the development of innovative products but also help strengthen the company's position in the growing heat pump market.
Participation in the HPAP underscores Diehl Controls' commitment to sustainable heating technologies and active contribution to the energy transition. As one of the 75 selected members, the company will participate in regular meetings and contribute its expertise to accelerate the adoption of heat pumps.
