Diehl Controls receives "B-Score" from CDP

Diehl Controls has been taking part in the annual CDP assessment since 2018 and has significantly improved this year compared to the previous year. CDP is a non-profit organization that compiles an annual global ranking of companies and cities. Companies and their measures in the areas of climate protection and water management are assessed along the entire value chain. More than 21,000 companies worldwide submitted their data for 2023.

A remarkable success in the area of sustainability for Diehl Controls: The "B-Score" result underlines the company's commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. Controls has thus reached a significant milestone on the road to environmental responsibility and has been rewarded with a "B" rating.

Popular with decision-makers

CDP scores are often used to make investment and procurement decisions towards a climate-friendly, sustainable and resilient economy.

Overall, the company has improved significantly in almost all climate change categories evaluated by CDP, despite the increased level of requirements. Three categories stand out. Risk management, responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating ESG risks, target definition and strong governance structures. The latter categories reflect specific targets, accountability and clear transparency in sustainability efforts.

Achieving corporate goals

The success is the result of the combined efforts of all employees and team members who contributed to the environmental initiatives and data collection.

"The B-Score rating is visible evidence of our commitment to sustainability and our determination to integrate environmental awareness into every aspect of our business.", Julian Kienhöfer, Corporate Marketing, Planning & Strategy, Diehl Controls
