Europe is the core and leading region of Diehl Controls. This is where the roots of our company lie. It’s where we have our broadest scope of products and services as well as an especially extensive technology portfolio.

Diehl Controls is a global company. Our international locations form a global network. Uniform processes ensure our products have the same excellent quality wherever they are manufactured. In close cooperation with our customers, we select the production location that best meets the specific requirements of each project.

We are represented in Germany with locations in Wangen in the Allgäu region and in Nuremberg. We also boast a high-performance production facility in Poland. This is a country that has developed into a center of the European appliances industry over recent years.

Our headquarters is located in Wangen in the Allgäu region of Germany. This is not only the seat of all our Appliances Division business activities, but also the development and production center of our Connectivity Solutions Division. On a total production area of some 7,000 m², we produce an annual volume of eight million electronic products in Wangen.

Our second German location is in Nuremberg. Here, we operate Development and Sales Departments for the Appliances and Connectivity Solutions Divisions. The Connectivity Solutions Division is based in Nuremberg, which is also the headquarters of the entire Diehl Group.

The Diehl Controls Polska (DCP) plant is located in Namyslow. Since 2000, we have been manufacturing control systems and system components for the Appliances Division there. The facility now has 14 lines for the manufacture of made-to-order SMD components.

We completed an expansion of the Namyslow plant in May 2017. It consists of new production and logistics buildings as well as new offices. In the new shop floor, high-end user interfaces and electronic control systems for large household appliances are produced. Since 2019, this facility has once again been producing exclusively for our headquarters in Wangen.

Our European Development Organization based in Wangen in the Allgäu region runs a further development center for internal order processing in Wroclaw. In 2014, the auxiliary R&D, Purchasing, Project Management, Sales, and Product Service Engineering Departments moved into new office spaces on two floors of the “Silver Tower” in the center of Wroclaw. Since 2019, 100% of our European sales activities have once again been concentrated in our headquarters in Wangen in the Allgäu region.
