  • Foundation of "Deutsche Verpackungsmittel Gesellschaft" (DVG, German Packaging Materials Company) at factory building 45 in Röthenbach (95 % Diehl, 5 % H. Dietrich)
  • Production of ammunition boxes for the German Armed Forces
1964
  • Inclusion of fibre containers in the product portfolio
  • Development and production of hazardous goods enclosures and high-quality packaging systems for the German Armed Forces, Diehl and the defence industry (the only manufacturer in Germany)
1982
  • DVG is now 100 % owned by Diehl
  • Recognised test centre of the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM)
  • Authorised to test packaging made of wood, plywood, wood fibre materials, metal and plastic that is used to transport dangerous goods made of solid materials

  • Transfer of the company to Diehl Munitionssysteme
